As a musician with more than fifteen years of experience, I offer private lessons tailored to each student's individual goals and skill levels. My teaching philosophy centers on nurturing a love for music while providing a solid foundation in technique and musicality.

At the teacher's home in Adliswil (Büchel) or at the student's home (Adliswil, Kilchberg, Lagnau am Albis)

ABOUT ME

My name is Eliza Khanafina. I received my first cello lessons at the age of seven in Ufa, Russia, and performed as a soloist with orchestra for the first time at the age of nine.

During my childhood, I won prizes at numerous youth competitions. I graduated from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory with a gold medal and performed in the best concert halls in Moscow and St. Petersburg (for example, the Moscow Conservatory, the Philharmonic Concert Hall in Moscow or the St. Petersburg Philharmonic). Additionally, in 2019, I completed my studies with Prof. Orfeo Mandozzi at the Zurich University of the of the Arts (ZHdK).

I performed in the Russian Chamber Orchestra, with which I have performed in Germany, the USA, Austria, Turkey, Mexico and South Korea.

I have experience at various chamber music festivals ("Homecoming" in Hiiumma, Estonia; Morges, Switzerland; Gstaad Menuhin Festival, Switzerland), ensembles and Orcherstras (City Lights Orchestra, Lucerne; Zurich Chamber Philharmonic, Zurich; Bern Symphony Orchestra, Bern)

800 CHF Person/hour of music(Yes! I can arrange duo, Trio or Quartet). First 90 minutes for a consultation of the music for the event are free.
